Black Dog is a branding and animation duo, working worldwide from their studio in Nelson, NZ, to help good brands do great.
James Sullivan - Designer
James is a Kiwi-Canadian who lives and breathes design. Growing up in Canada – where hockey and baseball are life – sports logos sparked a strong curiosity for bold design.
Educated at one of the top Design Institutes in the UK, James' curiosity became his obsession which (almost) outmatched his love for baseball. Now in NZ, he's building brands with big swings and brave ideas.
Emma Jane - Copywriter
Emma is a Brit with a knack for words. Having worked internationally with top creative universities across the world, she's known for her marketing chops and ability to craft stories that move people.
Racking up a BAFTA nomination and an impressive client list along the way, Emma moved to NZ, hung up her lecturing hat and now helps brands tell stories that make people feel something.
